01 - Combine diced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently for 5-7 minutes until strawberries break down and release their juices, creating a thick syrup. Mash strawberries lightly with a fork to achieve desired consistency. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely to room temperature.
02 - Distribute the cooled strawberry sauce evenly between two tall glasses, spreading it along the bottom to create the foundation for layered presentation.
03 - Place sliced fresh strawberries along the inside of each glass or atop the sauce base to enhance visual appeal and provide additional texture.
04 - Slowly pour cold milk over the strawberry mixture in each glass. Add ice cubes if desired to maintain chilled temperature. Pouring slowly helps preserve the layered effect.
05 - Gently stir once or twice to create a marbled swirling effect. Serve immediately while cold for optimal flavor and presentation.
