01 - Wash all fresh produce thoroughly. Dice the pineapple into small cubes, remove tough stems from kale leaves and chop into manageable pieces, peel the banana.
02 - Add almond milk, kale, banana, pineapple, chia seeds if using, lemon juice, and sweetener of choice to blender jar.
03 - Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and no leafy chunks remain.
04 - Add ice cubes to blender and pulse 2-3 times until incorporated and smoothie reaches desired consistency.
05 - Taste the smoothie and add additional honey or maple syrup if more sweetness is desired.
06 - Pour into chilled glasses and serve right away while cold and frothy.
